Mama Serene is an antenatal educational organisation that provides support, tangible skills and empowerment to parents and birth professionals alike. As far as parents are concerned the emphasis is on building and increasing their confidence in their ability to give birth. Giving them valuable skills through hypnosis, relaxation and birth physiology to help them to feel in control however their babies are born.

Attending a Hypnosis for birth practitioner training course will enable the trainee to gain an understanding of what hypnosis is and how to conduct hypnosis for birth sessions, how the subconscious works and how both of them can effect a woman’s confidence in her ability to give birth both negatively and positively. Trainee’s will learn how to write, deliver and record hypnosis scripts, how to run a hypnobirthing course, how to establish and grow a client base and how to run a hypnobirthing business whose biggest selling point is them.

Both the parents and trainees courses are taught by Dani Diosi DipHe, DypHyp LHS, a highly qualified and experienced Antenatal & Childbirth educator, hypnotherapist and Doula, having entered into the profession in 2004. She originally taught for the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) and utilized her own experience as a mother to twins to specialize in multiple birth classes. She subsequently qualified in Natal Hypnotherapy in 2008 and worked very closely with Maggie Howell (Natal Hypnotherapy’s founder and director) teaching the course and training and assessing new practitioners. Dani set up her own hypnobirthing programme in 2015 after qualifying as a hypnotherapist in 2012 and is a recognized Doula with Doula UK. She is also a member of the Maternity Services Liason Committee (MSLC) at Watford Hospital, as well as being mum to three girls and two dogs! Her common sense approach is reflected in her home life where she is a firm believer that there’s no such thing as the perfect parent – we can all only do our best!
